I have an interesting dilemma that I have no idea how to handle...my wife and I just had our second child about two weeks ago. My next door neighbors and my family hang out all the time, we even put a gate between our yards because we were tired of walking around. They're two women and one has two children, one a son, 22 years old...We always talk about how nice it is to have dependable neighbors and that we would ALWAYS be there for one another. I was at work when my wife went into labor and I needed someone to watch my 2 year old, so I contacted the 22 year old neighbor and he went over to watch my kid. Minutes before the doctors were going to start the C-section, my neighbor's mom texts me and says she is not comfortable with him watching my daughter. At this point, I am angry, because I have to drop everything to find someone else to watch my 2 year old. Now, my neighbors will not talk to me and they locked their side of the gate--and even UNFRIENDED my wife on Facebook. Yes, I did text the mom back from the delivery room, and I admit it wasn't totally nice, but I wasn't really that mean...do I seal up the gate and call it a loss or what? I just want to know why the mom was uncomfortable--my wife is devastated.

A new study says HALF of women are disappointed in the gift they get from their husband...that is a lot!! Perhaps it was because on average, women spend 13 hours shopping for the gift for their husband, while the husband usually only spends 4 hours. It is NO WONDER the gals are disappointed!!
