Garth was on Good Morning America this week, talking with Robin Roberts, and he announced that he and wife, Trisha Yearwood, would be going on tour in 2014. He had been teasing us on his website--having people sign up for email alerts--but being vague about why. Happily, it turns out they will be touring together. You can get more information at his website: www.garthbrooks.com!!

This is actually funny. The rumors are swirling all over the place about what is happening with Nick Saban and Mack Brown. There have been stories (from Bama) that the Sabans bought a home in Lakeway...he also said Mrs. Saban said she'd take a pay cut to get out of Alabama. There are stories of the boosters calling people they know in Alabama who know Nick Saban to get in touch with him...but THIS is the funniest yet. Multiple Twitter feeds reported hearing Nick Saban paged over the intercom at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. People said that the page said something like, "Nick Saban, please meet your car curbside."
How hilarious...and how funny is it that someone pulled a prank at an airport and DID NOT end up arrested!! CLICK the LINK above for the whole story...
My roommate wants to put up a Christmas tree and I think it's so stupid. I don't think people without kids should put up Christmas trees. My parents stopped putting up the tree after we kids left the house and I don't blame them. Christmas is for little kids and I don't want to be hassled with decorations and potential house fires when there are no kids around to care.
Am I alone here?
